The most resplendent and by far the most star-studded Christmas do on the property calendar, The Story of Christmas, is merely days away and all signs point to it being one spectacular event.
Estates Gazette is pleased to be the media partner for the service and soiree. Year after year it invokes the most astonishing spirit of generosity, raising hundreds of thousands of pounds to benefit London’s homeless and disadvantaged children.
This year, the property and construction industry’s movers and shakers will turn out with stars of film and TV to help celebrate the charity’s 35th anniversary event, including a service at St George’s Hanover Square, followed by a champagne reception and charity auction at the Dorchester Ballroom.
A look at the guest list and it is no wonder tickets are like gold dust. Confirmed attendees include Stephen Fry, Benedict Cumberbatch, June Whitfield, Freddie Fox, Douglas Booth, Geoffrey Palmer, Aled Jones, Penelope Wilton and Ian Hislop. Dame Judi Dench is the president of the Story of Christmas Appeal.
