The Thackeray Estate gets green light for two new office schemes

The Thackeray Estate has achieved planning approval for two new office schemes in South West London.

Plans have been approved for the estate’s scheme Woodyard in Dimes Place, Hammersmith, W6, where it plans to deliver a £25m, 30,000 sq ft scheme comprising three office blocks, each capable of housing businesses with up to 250 employees.

The other scheme given the green light, known as The Assembly Rooms, in Putney, SW15, has a gross development value of £30m. The Thackeray Estate will revamp the site of a former cinema located on Werter Road. Frost Meadowcroft and BNP Paribas Real Estate have already been appointed to act as letting advisers on the scheme.

Charles Thompson, director at The Thackeray Estate, said: “We are seeing increasing demand from businesses who want high-quality workspaces outside of central London but do not want sky-high rents.

“Our headquarter office developments at Woodyard in Dimes Place will offer tenants a distinctive and modern ‘campus’ style workspace that is increasingly desired by businesses.”
