Thomas & Adamson makes key hire in expansion drive

Construction and property consultancy Thomas & Adamson has increased its London office head count as part of an expansion.

Gary Wait has joined the firm as a director to support the its project management offering in London and develop new business. He has more than 20 years’ experience in construction and property, most recently running his own project and development management consultancy, Karoo, for prime residential developments in London.

Prior to that, Wait held senior roles at CPC Project Services, Gardiner & Theobold, and Wainbridge, working on projects across London, including the redevelopment of the area around Kings Cross Station.

Alastair Wallace, senior partner at Thomas & Adamson, said: “Our London office has been going strong for more than two decades, but this year we want to take it to the next level. Gary’s appointment is a key first step in that direction. His network and expertise will help us deliver on our plans.”

Thomas & Adamson opened its London office in 2001 and plans to make further hires in the city this year.
