Richard Thornton has quit Jones Lang LaSalle in Leeds to join King Sturge’s office in the Yorkshire city.
Thornton, who was head of offices at JLL in Leeds, is on gardening leave after handing in his notice last week, a colleague said.
James Pitt, Thornton’s second in command, has decided to stay with JLL, market sources said.
