Three more leave JLL retail team

JLL-logo (2)Three members of JLL’s retail team have left the business.

Giles Roberts and Ed Owen have both left the retail capital markets team and Matt James has left the out-of-town investment team.

Roberts, a former director in the retail capital markets team, will be joining the retail investment team at Colliers International in the new year. Owen and James, formerly director and associate director respectively, have yet to confirm plans for their next roles.

The capital markets team has hired Nick Hart from Savills, who will return to the firm as international director. He was previously the director of JLL’s shopping centre investment team from 1996 to 2004.

JLL added to its senior ranks after Adrian Peachey left his role as head of retail investment at the firm to join Montagu Evans earlier this year.

Head of JLL UK retail capital markets, Fraser Bowen, said: “Nick’s hire is in line with our strategy of profitable growth and excellence in every sector of the retail market. It is also part of a wider strategy of strengthening links between the occupational and investment side of our retail business and ensuring we provide best-in-class capital markets advice to our clients with a holistic view of the market.”
