ITV has shortlisted three buyers for the ITV Granada site on Quay Street in Manchester.
EG revealed in May that LandProp, the development wing of Swedish retail giant IKEA, and the Bion Group, were both in talks to take on the 14-acre site on the edge of the city centre.
Manchester-based regeneration outfit GenR8, led by former Amec chairman John Early, completes the trio.
The bids are understood to stand at around £25m. LandProp has set aside £500m to develop the site and GenR8 is backed by Chelsfield.
The site has consent for 1.2m sq ft of offices, 200,000 sq ft of retail, 895 homes and a 575-space car park.
Jones Lang Lasalle is advising ITV over the sale as the broadcaster prepares to move to Peel Group’s MediaCityUK at the end of 2013, occupying a plot on the Trafford side of the scheme.
