Ferrovial of Spain and Macquarie of Australia have joined forces to take over Glasgow, Aberdeen and Southampton airports in a deal worth £1.05bn.
The three airports are currently held by Heathrow Airport Holdings, in which Ferrovial has a 25% stake.
