A joint venture between Coltham and Delancey client funds has secured a resolution to grant planning permission to redevelop a manufacturing complex in Redditch, Worcestershire.
The Greenlight jv has already secured a prelet to existing occupier Honeywell for a refurbished and extended 66,000 sq ft facility.
As part of the redevelopment, the existing buildings will be partly demolished and replaced with four new facilities totalling 126,715 sq ft.
Greenlight Redditch will target BREEAM Outstanding and EPC A+ ratings. Features will include photovoltaic panels, EV charging infrastructure, rainwater harvesting and air source heat pumps.
Mark Enderby, director of development at Delancey, said the jv is “already in talks with other companies” seeking sustainable mid-box industrial space in the area.
JLL, Savills and CBRE jointly advise Greenlight Redditch.
