Ticketmaster has instructed West End office agent Glinsman Weller to look for as much as 30,000 sq ft of new office space in Manchester.
The online ticketing service currently occupies 25,000 sq ft at Bruntwood’s 40 Lever Street in the city’s Northern Quarter, which it prelet on a 10-year lease in 2002 and has since extended annually.
The company hopes to find its new offices by the end of the year and is understood to be focusing its search on Manchester city centre and Salford Quays, for a lease of around 15 years, although exact terms have yet to be finalised.
A decision is expected in the summer.
Glinsman Weller also advised Ticketmaster on the service’s 2012 prelet of 47,700 sq ft at Derwent’s 10-4 Pentonville Road, N1.
