Exchange Quay, a 435,000 sq ft workspace, is set to be turned into the healthiest office campus in Manchester.
Till Asset Management, which manages the building, has partnered with Urban Reform to help its occupiers boost wellbeing strategy. The partnership aims to educate, encourage and motivate more than 4,000 campus workers to create and develop new habits to look after their health.
The first initiative will kick off in October, with a cluster of health checks for Exchange Quay employees followed by a postural awareness campaign. Future plans include a mental health workshop to tie in with the winter months and low mood, and a nutrition workshop focusing on healthy eating on a budget amid the cost-of-living crisis.
Luke Podmore (pictured, left), health and wellbeing leader and PT at Urban Reform, said: “We believe happier and healthier employees are the key to achieving long-term success in business, with talent increasingly seeking companies with a strong health and wellbeing agenda.”
Les Lang (pictured, right), director at Till AM, added: “A better future is possible when businesses help build the skills for wellbeing, and we want to give occupiers and their staff the tools and know-how to improve their long-term health and happiness. It is our ambition to be the healthiest office campus in Manchester.”
