An Australian brewing giant has decided it couldn’t give a XXXX for British craft beers as it puts breweries in London and Huddersfield up for sale.
Lion, which is ultimately owned by Kirin of Japan, has appointed Greenhill to conduct a strategic review of Lion Little World Beverages UK.
The business comprises Fourpure Brewing Co in London, Magic Rock Brewing in Huddersfield, plus a microbrewery and four taprooms.
Lion bought Fourpure in 2018, buying Magic Rock a year later.
