Kiruna, a town in northern Sweden, has been told it must move two miles down the road, or risk being swallowed up by the earth.
Stockholm-based White Architects is leading the project to move the 23,000 people and has produced a master plan for the new Kiruna, after a state-owned mining company warned, in 2004, that shafts dug under the town would eventually cause it to collapse.
