Tishbi’s wish for Manchester

UX-Manchester-570Yousef Tishbi’s Realty Estates has unveiled plans for its £400m UX Manchester scheme on the former Boddingtons brewery site adjacent to the Manchester Arena.

The plans, which will cost £250m to build, include 1,000 PRS flats, two hotels and 200,000 sq ft of offices. The PRS scheme would be one of the largest in the UK outside of London.

Realty is now looking for a forward funder for the first 500 flats.

The seven-acre site was owned in a joint venture with Ask until 2012 when Realty bought out its partner.

Deloitte Real Estate is advising Realty.
