Tishman Speyer has let 58,620 sq ft at its Verde development, SW1.
PA Consulting, which specialises in management consulting, has agreed to occupy two floors, bringing the building to 48% occupancy.
Once complete in Q3 2016, Verde will comprise 317,083 sq ft, with six roof gardens totalling 20,000 sq ft.
Dan Nicholson, head of UK at Tishman Speyer, said: “PA Consulting is the leading global management consulting and technology firm and a great tenant for us to secure into Verde SW1, which already includes Oaktree Capital, Pret-a-Manger and Waitrose. With strong competition from other developments in Victoria, we were able to secure the contract with our best-in-class amenities at Verde SW1 and the strong relationship we have built with PA, which also leases space from us in the Chrysler Building in New York.”
Hamish Maule, PA’s head of operations, said: “PA’s business success and resulting growth has required that we secure a new headquarters building. We are pleased to be moving into Verde SW1, where we are creating an exciting space for our people and our clients to work together and to innovate. The team at Tishman Speyer have worked well with us over the last few months and are committed to supporting our planned move in early 2017.”
Verde SW1 is one of five major property acquisitions or developments for Tishman Speyer in London. The portfolio includes The Point in Paddington, 100 New Oxford Street, 33 Holborn and The Economist Plaza in St James’s.
