Tishman Speyer to buy Covent Garden office block

Tishman Speyer is under offer to buy 101 St Martin’s Lane, WC2, from Legal & General and PGGM.

It is understood the firm will pay more than £55m for the 40,000 sq ft building in Covent Garden.

The property’s tenants include quantity surveyor Potter Raper, travel operator Abercrombie & Kent and shaving products firm Harry’s Grooming.

L&G and Dutch pension fund manager PGGM acquired the property when the pair purchased the Bishopsgate Long Term Property Fund Unit Trust for around £370m in 2015.

It was one of two prime central London properties in the trust’s 24-strong portfolio.

Both Tishman Speyer and Legal & General have been contacted for comment.
