The head of Tishman Speyer’s UK business, Dan Nicholson, has left the property investor after 10 years in the role.
The company’s Spanish investment boss, Enis Aryas, will take the top job in London, where he will be responsible for finding new acquisitions, handling developments, and subsequently selling them off.
Aryas has been with Tishman Speyer since 2012. A former Lehman Brothers analyst and, more recently, a manager at Swiss dental industry giant Biodenta, Aryas will be tasked with expanding the company’s UK portfolio.
The UK business has made a series of disposals recently, including the £160m sale of the redeveloped Smithson Plaza, the former home of The Economist magazine in SW1 (pictured), to a Portuguese insurer in January. This was the last major UK disposal handled by Nicholson.
The new UK chief will be assisted by Justin Woolf, a London-based senior executive at Tishman Speyer who also oversees its disposals and acquisitions in the Republic of Ireland.
Nicholson, who is currently on gardening leave, is believed to have left in search of new opportunities after an amicable departure from the New York headquartered firm.
Tishman Speyer declined to comment.
