JLL was the top London office agent in the second quarter of 2015, acting on 1.3m sq ft of deals.
But it only just beat last quarter’s victor CBRE, which was less than 100,000 sq ft behind in Estate Gazette’s London Offices Market Analysis.
A thriving quarter for the London market saw disposals up by almost 50%, boosted by the twin lettings at Lend Lease’s The International Quarter in Stratford, E20, to the Financial Conduct Authority and Transport for London.
Their taking of just less than 700,000 sq ft of space in May allowed JLL to take the top spot and created the opportunity for Stratford to become London newest submarket.
Stripping out the Stratford deals, CBRE would have been the most active agent in London by a considerable margin, with JLL slipping to third place, behind Savills.
