Colliers International has hired Cushman & Wakefield partner Toby Greville as a director. Greville will lead the UK residential development team and report to Ashley Osborne, head of UK residential.

Capco eyes £300m Olympia sale

Capital & Counties is conducting a strategic review of the Olympia exhibition centre in Kensington, W14, which could lead to a £300m sale. It has appointed CBRE and Rothschild to consider options for the site. A sale would include an adjacent site with planning permission for a hotel and 90 flats.

£210m makeover for Hounslow

Barratt London, Wilson Bowden and the London borough of Hounslow have secured consent for the £210m redevelopment of Hounslow town centre. It will include 527 homes and 100,000 sq ft of retail and leisure. Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2017, with completion in 2020.

Grosvenor to sell SW1 block

Grosvenor Fund Management is selling Almack House, 28 King Street, SW1, for £225m – a 3.6% yield. JLL has been appointed to market the 97,563 sq ft property, which is fully let and was refurbished in 2009. Grosvenor intends to reinvest the capital into its existing portfolio.

Alchemi goes down the Strand

BlackRock has appointed Alchemi Group as development manager for 5 Strand, WC2. The company will work with architect Adijaye Associates on the 75,000 sq ft, 1980s office building, which is currently home to Land Securities.

Colliers to advise on Kirkby

St Modwen has instructed Colliers International to advise on the development of Kirkby town centre in Liverpool. St Modwen recently bought the 400,000 sq ft Kirkby shopping centre and 65 acres of development land from Tesco for £35.8m.
