Topland racks up £40m of purchases in H1

Sol Zakay’s Topland Group completed close to £40m of transactions in the first half of 2018, the company has said in a trading update.

Topland’s activity was bolstered by the recent acquisition of a 310,000 sq ft multi-let industrial estate in West Bromwich for £23m.

Other deals include an off-market £7m acquisition of an industrial unit in Bracknell, let to BT for another 40 years, and an office building in Farnham, Surrey, acquired for £4.2m.

Mark Kingston, managing director of Topland, said: “The first half of 2018 has been a busy one for the investment side of the group, with a number of strategic acquisitions and disposals.

“These deals demonstrate our diverse, opportunistic requirements and ability to drive value from a range of sectors. We remain acquisitive, and with a number of further transactions in the pipeline we look forward to an equally busy second half of the year.”
