Torcy gives itself new urban centre

The area of Torcy, in the Seine-et-Marne region of France, is constructing a new centre, which is entirely financed by private money.

It has benefited from the removal of the Carrefour site, which has left 7ha vacant right next to the RER station and the A4 motorway.

The leisure complex will open in 2004 and will include a 12 screen cinema and a bowling alley.
