Tory MP heavily invested in housebuilders

Conservative MP Jonathan Djanogly holds more than £125,000 of shares in major housebuilders.

The Guardian has revealed the extent of shareholdings held by MPs that are either kept hidden in blind trusts, or below the £70,000 threshold at which they must be declared.

The Conservative MP for Huntingdon is revealed as one of the most invested, and the only one to have significant shareholdings in housebuilders, with £102,000 of Persimmon shares and just over £25,000 of Taylor Wimpey.
