Travel company Trainline has secured a lease for its new HQ at Ivanhoé Cambridge and Co-Re’s Stonecutter Court at 1 Stonecutter Street, EC4.
The deal, which Estates Gazette revealed was in the works last year, will see the company take the second, third and fourth floors of the building, which amounts to around 61,500 sq ft.
The company will pay around £80 per sq ft – a mark-up of nearly £30 per sq ft on the £57.50 per sq ft the company pays for its current 55,000 sq ft office at 120 Holborn, EC1, owned by Singaporean developer UOL Group, according to EG Radius data.
The company is set to move to its new HQ during its lease break at 120 Holborn in 2026.
The decision to expand its office understood to have been in anticipation of further growth, following a 60% expansion of its headcount over the past four years, which has taken its number of employees to around 1,000.
The deal leaves just one floor in the building remaining, after Ivanhoé Cambridge and Co-Re secured an earlier lease with law firm Travers Smith for around 156,500 sq ft.
BH2 and Knight Frank advised the landlord on the deal, while CBRE advised Trainline.
