Online ticket seller The TrainLine has secured a new headquarters at 120 Holborn, EC1.
The firm has signed a 10-year-lease for 37,000 sq ft, taking the second and third floors of the newly refurbished property at a rent of £60 per sq ft.
It will move from its current headquarters at Picton Capital’s 50 Farringdon Road, EC1 – where it exercised a break option – to the 150,000 sq ft mixed-use scheme, managed by Zebulon on behalf of a private client. The building was refurbished last year.
The TrainLine will join tenants including members-only travel agency Secret Escapes, consulting firm North Highland and intellectual property company D Young & Co.
Farebrother figures show take-up in Midtown for new and refurbished stock was 464,400 sq ft in Q4 2015. Total availability in Midtown stands at 1.2m sq ft, of which 39% is new or refurbished. Average rents in Midtown are £60 per sq ft for grade-A refurbished space.
Farebrother and CBRE advise Zebulon; Cluttons acted for the tenant.
