Travers shakes up H&B with first reshuffle

John Travers is shaking up Healey & Baker in his first reshuffle of key staff since taking over as senior partner last September.

He has brought in Bill Peach of Richard Ellis St Quintin as an equity partner in the City office with a brief to expand City office agency. He will work alongside City investment equity partner Craig McDonald. They will both report to City chief Colin Hargreaves, who will spend more time on his role as managing partner with overall responsibility for offices.

In a series of other high-profile moves, Rupert Dodson, head of West End office agency, is moving to valuation where he will take special responsibility for bringing in more international business. He will report to Andrew Cherry, who remains a board member and head of valuation.

Dodson will be replaced in the West End by Patrick Going, currently a partner in the corporate services team, who becomes the new head of West End office agency. Simon O’Reilly has joined corporate services from Unysis to take on some of Going’s responsibilities.

Michael Creamer is returning to the UK from Hong Kong to take over corporate services from James Hollington who is retiring in May. Creamer has worked in Hong Kong at Cushman & Wakefield Asia since 1998. He was previously H&B director responsible for Europe and Asia at Cushman’s New York office.

H&B has also put its management, project management and building services departments together under Jeremy Garnett in one 60-strong asset services department, mirroring the corporate structure at Cushman’s.

Commenting on the changes, deputy senior partner Andy Gulliford said: “Our aim is to strengthen the offices team. Our clients are demanding a more international service across the board.”
