Travis Perkins sales growth slows in Q2

Travis Perkins reported a 10.7% on-year rise in pretax profit in H1, while revenue increased by 5.8%.

Sales growth slowed in Q2 as projects were put on hold until after the EU referendum.

Chief executive John Carter said it was too early to be able to gauge the impact of the Brexit vote, but said it had created significant uncertainty in the outlook for the company’s end markets.
