The Treasury has restarted the sale of almost £16bn of Bradford & Bingley mortgage loans, acquired as part of the bailout of the bank during the financial crisis.
The government expects the sale of the loan portfolio to be completed by April 2018. The focus is on ensuring value for money, the Treasury said.
