Trebor Developments has submitted detailed plans to turn the former Mars Petcare site in Peterborough into a bespoke manufacturing facility.
The developer wants to turn the site, which did have planning consent for a two-unit speculative development, into a 645,000 sq ft facility. Terms have already been agreed with an occupier.
Work on site is expected to being in Q2 2022, subject to planning.
Trebor, which has some 6m sq ft of development in its pipeline, said this latest manufacturing project was in addition to other similar B2 use schemes currently being developed for Oxford Instruments at Bristol and Tait Industries in Suffolk.
