English Partnerships and ISIS Waterside Regeneration have won consent for the £390m regeneration of one of Nottingham’s most rundown areas.
The Trent Basin scheme will deliver 2,200 homes, 40,000 sq ft of shops and 25,000 sq ft of offices.
Work on the Benoy-designed plan is scheduled to start in 2008, with completion in 2010.
ISIS and English Partnerships are backed by a joint venture including Nottingham Regeneration, British Waterways, Nottingham city council and the East Midlands Development Agency.
