US hospitality specialist Trinity Investments has made senior hires in its European business, with its latest recruits focusing on finance, development and strategic operations.
Andrea Hendrick has been appointed as vice president of finance. She has joined from Oaktree Capital Management, where she worked as vice president in fund accounting and operations, responsible for the European financial and accounting operations of the real estate equity and debt funds. Prior to Oaktree, she worked at HIG Capital and Citco Fund Services as a senior fund accountant.
In May, Elia Antonioudaki joined Trinity as vice president of development from L&R Hotels, where she worked as project director, leading capital expenditure programmes across the UK, Europe and the Caribbean.
Before L&R, she worked for Hilton Worldwide as senior manager of capital projects in the EMEA region and served in various project management roles at Zoniro – Dolphin Capital Partners and Galaxy GC Group.
Trinity hired George Austin as director of strategic operations in March. He joined the company from KSL Capital Partners, where he worked in strategic operations. Prior to KSL, he served in various strategic planning, concept development and consulting roles for GlobalData and The Birley Clubs.
Last September, the firm hired vice president Mai Kawashima from Savills, where she was a director in the hotels capital markets team.
Ryan Donn, managing partner of Trinity Investments and head of the London office, said there is an “extensive opportunity set in front” of the team, adding: “We added a dedicated presence in Europe less than one year ago, and already we have been able to make substantial traction in this market, both in asset acquisitions and team building.”
Trinity set up its London office last year as part of its ambitions for international expansion. It bought the Park Hyatt Zurich earlier this year, marking its first acquisition in Europe.
In April, Partners Group acquired a minority stake in the investor and committed $500m (£396m) for acquisitions.
