Strettons has published the catalogue for its upcoming 13 December national property auction, including three connected freehold vacant properties in Falmouth, Cornwall, which are to be sold as one lot.
The sale features a variety of commercial and residential properties across the UK, with prices ranging from £1,500 for a freehold ground rent investment in Manor Park, east London (lot 31), to £1.75m-plus for the Falmouth properties (lot 19A, pictured).
The Falmouth properties, 23, 24 and 25 Avenue Road, are located within a conservation area and will be offered as a single lot. Strettons director and auctioneer Andrew Brown comments: “The properties are set to attract the attention of local investors and developers. Comprising a detached terrace of three properties on a town centre site of 0.4 acres, the properties were last used as a hostel or hotel but have the potential for residential conversion or redevelopment, subject to obtaining the necessary consents.”
The sale features a range of residential and commercial investment opportunities across London. Commercial investments include lots 1 and 3, two freehold commercial investments in Walthamstow comprising a ground-floor retail unit and flats above with guide prices of £500,000-plus and £675,000-plus respectively.
In Leyton, lot 4, a shop and self-contained flat (sold on a long lease) on Lea Bridge Road has a guide price of £185,000-plus, while in Tower Hamlets, lot 29, a long leasehold commercial investment let at £30,000 pa is guided at £275,000-plus.
Residential properties include lot 2, a freehold vacant house for repair/modernisation in Harrow with a guide price of £400,000-plus, and lot 28, a freehold vacant three-bedroom house in Walthamstow guided at £550,000-plus.
In Dudley, in the West Midlands, lot 10, a freehold land development site comprising a block of four two-bedroom flats plus additional land with planning permission for six one-bedroom flats looks set to attract competitive bidding with a guide price of £260,000-plus.
