A trio of office deals totalling 125,000 sq ft are close to signing in Manchester.
Towergate Insurance has gone under offer to take 50,000 sq ft at Credit Suisse Asset Management’s 3 Hardman Square (pictured) in Spinningfields.
Towergate is understood to be paying around £28.50 per sq ft. The firm operates out of a head office in Maidstone, Kent.
The UK Border Agency has also gone under offer on 40,000 sq ft for a passport processing facility at Carlyle Group’s speculative Soapworks scheme in Salford Quays, paying around £16.50 per sq ft.
Meanwhile, law firm Shoosmiths is close to taking 35,000 sq ft at Allied London’s speculative Cotton Building, also in Spinningfields, as its preferred option of three. It will pay around £22.50 per sq ft for the space.
