Triple signing for Asda Living

Asda Living is to open a trio of new stores across specialist retail park fund Hercules Unit Trust and British Land retail parks.

HUT, which is advised by British Land and managed by Schroders, has completed lettings to the retailer for 19,300 sq ft, plus an 18,500 sq ft mezzanine level, at the 170,000 sq ft Queens retail park in Stafford and 20,000 sq ft plus an 18,000 sq ft mezzanine floor at Rotherham’s Parkgate retail park, both on 15-year leases.

British Land has agreed a letting on 20,000 sq ft, with a 18,000 sq ft mezzanine level, on a 15-year lease at the 148,900 sq ft Westside retail park in Guiseley.

Ben Grose, head of retail asset management at British Land, said: “British Land is committed to working closely with retailers to ensure they have the right space. Completing three deals is testament to the appeal and dominance of our assets.”
