Tristan Capital Partners docks housebuilder at Hertfordshire hub

Tristan Capital Partners has signed Taylor Wimpey for office space at the Dock building in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire.

The housebuilder has agreed a 10-year lease on 8,238 sq ft of workspace on the lower ground floor at £25 per sq ft, according to Radius data. It will become a regional hub for the Taylor Wimpey North Thames team.

The Dock, spanning 47,786 sq ft, is owned by Tristan Capital Partners’ Curzon Capital Partners 5 Long-Life fund and managed by Alchemy Asset Management. The grade A building was constructed as part of a campus of three buildings in 2015 and was refurbished in 2021.

Guy Bishop, director at Alchemy, said: “We are finding that the building is attracting interest from occupiers looking for sustainability-led, grade-A, well-located, modern workspaces which help them to retain and attract talent, and the Dock provides this in an attractive setting by the Grand Union Canal.”

Lambert Smith Hampton and Brasier Freeth represented Alchemy and Tristan; Knight Frank acted on behalf of Taylor Wimpey.
