Tritax Big Box REIT is seeking to raise £200m through the issue of new shares.
The company said it is “engaged in discussions with the owners of a number of attractive investment assets that meet the company’s investment criteria and are available for potential acquisition in the near term” and that the cash would be spent within six months.
The issue price is 136p and represents a 6.6% discount on the closing price of 147.2p per existing share on Friday.
Tritax Big Box has also declared a dividend of 1.6p per share for the first quarter of the year.
The result of the issue is due to be announced on 11 May, the day of the company’s general meeting.
