Tritax Symmetry installs Manchester boss

National logistics developer Tritax Symmetry has appointed David Travis to the newly created position of head of Manchester as it targets further growth across the North.

Travis (pictured right, next to managing director Andrew Dickman), joins from Hargreaves Land where he held the position of development director and head of region for its central office in Leeds. He has more than 16 years’ experience in full-cycle property development, strategic land promotion, property regeneration and asset and investment management. He has worked predominantly in the Midlands, north of England, Scotland and Wales. Travis will start at the end of February.

Tritax Symmetry has also hired James Cannon (left) from Rider Levett Bucknall as construction director for the north.

The appointments form part of a three-year growth strategy for the business, which is part of Tritax Big Box REIT.
