Banking group TSB is on the verge of signing the biggest out-of-town Bristol office letting so far this year.
TSB, advised by CBRE, has gone under offer to lease almost all of CBRE Global Investors’ 63,900 sq ft Key Point on the Almondsbury business park.
A 10-year lease is understood to have been agreed for the four-storey office building, where the quoting rent is £17.50 per sq ft.
The deal will surpass the largest out-of-town letting so far this year, when in Q1 US tech firm Broadcom moved from Bristol Business Park to 9-10 Aztec West, doubling the size of its offices to 25,200 sq ft.
According to Savills, the biggest leasing outside of the city centre since 2011, was in 2012 when Babcock International Group signed for 40,800 sq ft at 2610 The Quadrant.
A number of large requirements are also circulating in the wider Bristol market, including Ovo Energy which is searching for 60,000 sq ft, and accountancy firms KPMG and PwC, which are looking for 50,000 sq ft and 25,000 sq ft, respectively.
CBRE and Hartnell Taylor Cook are advising CBREGI.
