Two people have been arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life following the fire at the Crooked House pub in the West Midlands.
Staffordshire Police said the two men, aged 66 and 33, were in custody on Thursday being questioned by officers while the investigation continues.
The Crooked House, nicknamed Britain’s wonkiest pub because of its lopsided structure caused by mining subsidence in the 19th century, caught fire on 5 August.
Two days later it was demolished by its new owners, against instruction from the planning authority.
