Two houses for 4m plot

A four metre wide plot of land in Bristol’s afluent Clifton district has been given permission for two houses.

The properties, which will be shoe-horned into a plot barely bigger than a parking space, will have eco-roofs and will back onto the supporting wall of a former quarry.

A similar scheme was refused permission three years ago, because it proposed three houses on the site.
