Two sign for Hammerson’s Parc Fforestfach

Boots and travel agent Lunn Poly have taken space at Hammerson’s 130,000 sq ft (12,100 sq m) Parc Fforestfach retail park in Swansea.

Boots has signed for an 11,135 sq ft (1,034 sq m) store, which will open in May, while Lunn Poly has taken 4,000 sq ft (372 sq m).

Hammerson acquired the park from Eddie Healey’s Stadium Group for £57.7m last August.

It is anchored by Borders, with a 19,000 sq ft (1,765 sq m) store.

Other occupiers include Argos, Birthdays, Carphone Warehouse, JJB Sports, Next, Pizza Hut and WH Smith.

Parc Fforestfash is next to a 109,000 sq ft (10,126 sq m) Tesco Extra Foodstore.

Simon Travis, Hammerson’s retail parks manager responsible for Parc Fforestfach, claimed: “Retailer interest in the remaining three units in the scheme is strong, with one of these currently under offer to a major consumer electronics retailer.”

Smith Young and Harvey Spack Field are joint agents for Parc Fforestfach.
