Bond Wolfe plans to offer more than 100 lots in a live-streamed auction on 24 June, its first sale since lockdown.
Chief executive Gurpreet Bassi said: “We took the view early on that it was unreasonable to expect our clients to buy sight unseen, and so deliberately delayed announcing any firm plans.”
Changes to regulations announced in May meant the firm could undertake market appraisals, enable socially distanced viewings, and take high-quality photographs and 360-degree video tours to showcase clients’ properties, he added.
Bassi said his team was equipped with face masks, shields, latex gloves, hand sanitiser and antibacterial wipes to ensure there is no cross-contamination of any surfaces or door handles.
Some 131 lots have been listed for the sale, of which three have so far sold prior.
A Victorian house set in three acres and within easy reach of Birmingham’s rail connections, NEC and Birmingham International Airport is expected to attract keen interest.
Church Garth, a six-bedroom family home in Bickenhill, near Solihull, will be offered with a guide price of £475,000 to £495,000.
Jonathan Hackett, consultant director, said: “HS2 will undoubtedly be a game changer over the next two decades, so Church Garth could prove to be a very canny investment in 2020.”
