The firm’s real estate and private markets business has also made a raft of new appointments to drive investment performance and further grow the European real estate platform.

Hollick takes on the CIO position, which excludes Switzerland, following almost 10 years in the firm’s real estate business, where he most recently held the dual roles of head of transactions UK and portfolio manager for the UK property fund, Triton Property Fund LP.

As CIO, he will oversee the investment activities and teams across its EMEA real estate platform from 1 October and will report to Reto Ketterer, head of real estate EMEA. He will also chair a newly formed European Growth Group, comprising senior real estate directors from across the EMEA organisation, and will be focused on facilitating and implementing new product ideas, with a number of initiatives already in the pipeline.

Other promotions within the EMEA real estate business include that of Benoît Delaby, who will assume the new position of head of portfolio management in addition to his current role leading the customised mandates organisation, and Gijsbert van Riemsdijk, who has been appointed head of transactions. Both Delaby and van Riemsdijk will support Hollick in his CIO role, alongside Ward van de Braak, who continues to lead the real estate asset management teams across Europe.

Ketterer commented: “These appointments reflect our commitment to further expand our leading franchise in Europe, with a clear focus on developing innovative products and delivering attractive returns for our clients.

“Jonathan’s track record and his deep understanding of the business, key markets and sectors that are integral to our continued growth means he is extremely well placed to succeed in the newly established CIO role.”
