U+I has been granted planning permission for its Friarsgate development in Lichfield, Staffordshire.
The development will add retail, leisure and residential space to the city centre and add to the infrastructure.
Included in the plan are 25 new shops, 10 restaurants and a gym. U+I estimates that this will add £57m to the £55m turnover of the existing retail and leisure offering in the area.
The site will also include 82 flats, 11 townhouses and a new public area.
WYG was consultant to U+I on the planning application.
