UK airport group MAG has promoted Jonathan Haigh and Andrew Blackshaw to lead its property operation.
MAG’s property business is responsible for a £526m UK airport property portfolio located at Manchester, London Stansted and East Midlands.
Haigh will become managing director, MAG Property; Blackshaw has been appointed as managing director, MAG Investment Assets.
The moves come as MAG has restructured the assets within its property business, with a dedicated team focused on different parts of the portfolio, each with their own lead.
Haigh will focus on MAG’s development land and “core” property assets across its three UK airports, and on providing development management services across the group and for the 5m sq ft Airport City Manchester scheme.
Blackshaw will focus on MAG’s investment properties comprising circa 8m sq ft of assets including offices, hotels, warehouses and hangars.
The two appointments succeed Lynda Shillaw, who has left MAG for Town Centre Securities.
