British investors are piling back into the Dubai property market in search of bargains, despite warnings that it is starting to cool.
UK buyers sank almost £1bn of investment into Dubai property between January and June 2014 – a 44% jump on 2013.
The only nation investing more was India, with a 31% rise to £1.75bn. Pakistani buyers spent 50% more with £750m.
But despite a slew of developments in the pipeline, growth is slowing. Average sale prices grew by 6% in Q2, down from 10% in the previous quarter.
