Aviva Investors has agreed to pay £87m to forward fund a 163,000 sq ft grade-A office at CB1 in Cambridge city centre. It will be the largest office to be developed in the city. Life science research firm Abcam has prelet 100,000 sq ft at Liberty Property Trust and Countryside’s Biomedical Campus for its global headquarters. Video game developer Frontier Developments is taking 68,000 sq ft at Trinity College’s 26 Cambridge Science Park and Amazon is taking 60,000 sq ft at Brookgate’s CB1 in the city centre.
CONNECTIVITY
Cambridge is 45 minutes by train from London and there are plans for an Oxford-Cambridge rail link. London Stansted Airport is 25 minutes away.
