UK finance firm closes in on Cannon Street office

Brewin Dolphin is in discussions to lease Pembroke’s 116,000 sq ft 25 Cannon Street, EC4.

The five-storey neo classical office building, which was completed in 2000, overlooks St Paul’s Cathedral.

Brewin Dolphin currently occupies 10,788 sq ft at 8 Waterloo Place, SW1, and 68,974 sq ft at 12 Smithfield Street, EC1, according to Radius Data Exchange.

It is understood that the high-profile new home for the British investment management and financial planning firm will be refurbished prior to it taking possession.

Currently 25 Cannon Street is occupied by Fidelity International, which is moving to Scandinavian House at 2-6 Cannon Street, EC1. Scandinavian House has been redeveloped by Pembroke and now contractor Mace is working on the 108,000 sq ft fit-out on behalf of Fidelity International. It is due to complete this year.

Brewin Dolphin and Pembroke declined to comment.
