UK Land have dived back into the portfolio market with two acquisitions totalling £22.5m. They have bought portfolios from Chase Property Holdings (PHIT) and Wilson Connelly which have a total current rent role of £2.4m pa.
Around 40% of the properties are in the London area with 85% of the balance spread throughout the South East.
Notable properties in the portfolios include Brook House, a 40,000-sq ft office building in Spring Gardens, Manchester, and the Spa Industrial Park in Tunbridge Wells.
It is believed that UK Land are looking to trade many of the properties and that some have already been sold on.
The company made the purchases out of their own resources and say they are looking for further acquisitions.
Last autumn, the company made a string of portfolio purchases with a total outlay of around £53m.
In the recent deals, Nelson Bakewell acted for UK Land.
