The UK Apartment Association, a 300-strong trade organisation for the build-to-rent industry, has named Brendan Geraghty as its new chief executive.
He replaces Dave Butler, who stood down at the end of April.
Geraghty is an architect, design and development strategist who has worked in the BTR sector since 2011. He is a founder of Centred Architecture and Geraghty Taylor Architects.
Geraghty worked with the UKAA on its recently launched best practice guide.
Geraghty said: “The potential of build to rent is still far from fulfilled – there is appetite for exceptional growth in the UK, particularly at a regional level. UKAA will be at the heart of that growth.”
