Underground car park to be new Harley Street

An underground car park beneath one of London’s Georgian squares will be transformed into a £100m medical, retail and leisure complex.

Plans submitted to Westminster council for the 1970’s Cavendish Square car park, near Oxford Circus, reveal a 280,000 sq ft development over four subterranean storeys.

The scheme is being pitched as an extension to the nearby Harley Street medical area.

Reef Group acquired the long leasehold for the site from Westminster, which owns the freehold. It plans to start work next year and complete in 2022.
