Unicef UK takes Stratford space
Unicef UK is to relocate its London headquarters from Clerkenwell to Lendlease and LCR’s £2.4bn International Quarter in Stratford, E20.
The charity has agreed to lease 25,000 sq ft across the top two floors of 1 Westfield Avenue, which also houses the Financial Conduct Authority.
More than 300 Unicef UK employees will work there at the end of this summer following a fit-out.
Mark Devlin, chief operating officer at Unicef UK said: “We were attracted by the community nature of Stratford and based our decision on affordability, location and design potential.
“The workplace at 1 Westfield Avenue will enable us to adopt more agile and collaborative working practices. In turn, this will enable our teams to operate more effectively and achieve even better outcomes for the world’s children.”
